When we made the difficult decision to cancel Camp Hillcroft for the 2020 season, we were blown away by the response from campers and counselors around the world. Stories of what hillcroft meant to them, and how it had impacted their life, brought tears to our eyes. There was one recurring theme. Hillcroft gave them strength and courage to face everything that they faced in life over the years. Then someone suggested #hillcroft strong - and here we are.
YOUR HILLCROFT FAMILY
Since 1950 Camp Hillcroft has been owned and operated by the Buttinger family. Originally, Louis and Friedl, then their son Dennis and wife Judy. In 2007 their son, Greg and his wife Sally proudly took over the role of Owners and Directors. Over the years, thousands of children have spent time on the hill - where they have become a part of the Hillcroft family. Staff and children have experienced the magic of a summer at Hillcroft, learning to respect the uniqueness of each individual, which is an integral component to Hillcroft's values. Many return year after year, ensuring the continuity of our values and traditions.
